Freestyle Courses
This course is ideal for those who haven’t really ventured in to the Park yet or have limited freestyle skills on the piste. This course is designed as an introduction to freestyle to help build solid foundations so you can hit the park safely. We take you through switch riding, learning to ollie, presses, buttering and basic spins on the flat. Then, after the first couple of days, taking these skills to the park on the basic features and jumps.

The course runs for 4 days, 6hrs Coaching per day. Mon-Tue and Thurs-Fri.
Average day will be 9:15am-12:15pm then 1-4pm.
So you’re fairly confident in the park but you’ve only got a couple of tricks down and you want to expand your bag. This course will be take you to the next level, whether that’s perfecting a grab, spinning on the kickers or learning some new tricks on the boxes and rails. We will help you achieve your goals by building the right environment for differing abilities to get the maximum out of each session.

Off Piste Courses
This course is for those who want to ride powder and venture off-piste. You want to feel the thrill of riding pow, you’re looking for insider knowledge and want to be taken to the best spots. This course is also for riders who want to learn how to use avalanche transceivers correctly and stay safe in the backcountry. The course involves a multitude of routes throughout Courchevel and Meribel.

We run Off-Piste Snowboard Courses in both Courchevel and Meribel.
A good level of fitness is required. Some runs require short hikes for access (you’ve got to earn those turns!). Bear in mind you’ll be hiking in full Snowboard gear and at altitude.
All safety equipment is provided and training how to use it will make up the first part of the course. You will be given an avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe and backpack.

For the ultimate Freeride, Off-Piste experience.
So you can ride powder, you done some hiking and found good lines. Now you’re ready for the next step, Splitboarding is next-level Snowboarding. You want to get off the grid, out of the ski area boundary and into the true backcountry. You want to leave the lifts behind and tour/skin to the top to earn those turns. Our Splitboard Freeride courses are perfect for you to get into the backcountry and ride some epic off-piste.
We explore terrain in Courchevel 1850, Courchevel 1650, Meribel and Meribel Mottaret in the Three Valleys
Using special Splitboards provided by us, boards that split in half so they can be used independently to walk up the mountain, we will take you out of the ski area and find some fresh lines. We use Burton Freebird Snowboards and Ortovox avalanche safety equipment which is included in the price.
This course requires a high level of fitness and an high level of Snowboard experience.

The course runs for 4 full days Mon-Tue and Thurs-Fri. We have a maximum of 6 per group. The average day will be 9:15am to 4pm but this may vary depending on conditions and location.
This course is heavily snow and weather dependent, RTM reserve the right to change the format of this course and can not make any guarantees about conditions. Safety comes first.
BASI and UK Courses
All our Snowboard Instructors are BASI (British Association of Snowsports Instructors) Trainers which means we train and examine new instructors of all levels. So if you’re an up-and-coming instructor or want to get into the instructor game then you can have no better training than with RTM.

We run BASI Instructor Training Courses in Courchevel and Meribel. These courses are designed to get your Technical Snowboarding to the level required and beyond. So whether its training towards your BASI Level 1 or 2 Snowboard Instructor qualification, or if you’re going for your BASI Level 3 ISIA or Level 4 ISTD, then we can help.
We cover all aspects of Snowboarding required for these levels, including Freestyle, Carving, tackling Steeps, Variable conditions and Bumps. We will train you, develop an action plan and help you implement it beyond our BASI Snowboard Instructor Course. Come and Snowboard with us in Courchevel, Meribel and the Three Valleys.

When we’re not in Courchevel or Meribel several of the RTM team reside in the UK through the Summer and Autumn. We’re always keen for a shred and it doesn’t matter to us if it’s indoors. The UK has some great Snowsports centres and we’d love to ride with you during the off-season to keep you progressing.
